This policy explains the booking advance, cancellation and rescheduling terms for moves booked on Packerwala.
Getting your price is free
Getting your instant, all-inclusive price on Packerwala is completely free — the lowest in the market, with no GST and nothing extra added on top. You only pay once you choose to confirm your move.
Booking advance (customers)
To confirm your move, you pay a 15% advance (minimum ₹500, capped at ₹15,000). This advance is part of your total move cost — never an extra charge. You pay the remaining balance securely to Packerwala after the move is completed — never directly to the mover. Packerwala then settles with your assigned mover.
The advance confirms your booking and reserves a verified mover, crew and vehicle for your date.
Rescheduling your move
Plans changed? You can reschedule your move date for free — there is no rescheduling charge. Go to your account, choose a new date, and confirm with the one-time code (OTP) we send to your registered email. You simply pay the standard price for your new date (a high-demand date such as a weekend or month-end may be priced higher, in line with our transparent demand pricing).
Cancellation & refunds
If you cancel a confirmed booking, your refund depends on how much notice you give before the scheduled move:
- 48 hours or more before the move: full refund of the advance.
- Between 24 and 48 hours before: 50% of the advance is refunded.
- Within 24 hours of the move: no refund (the crew and vehicle are already reserved for you).
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. To cancel, open your account and tap Request cancellation — it emails our team with your booking details, and we process the refund as per the policy above. In the rare case of a duplicate payment or a technical error during checkout, we refund the full duplicate amount.
Partners (movers)
Partners join Packerwala free — there are no lead fees, no credits to buy and no upfront cost. You receive confirmed, paid bookings in your city. Packerwala collects the full payment from the customer and pays you your payout (the move total minus our 18% commission) after the job. As there is nothing for a partner to purchase, there are no partner refunds. Accepting a job and not turning up, or cancelling accepted jobs repeatedly, can suspend your account.
